The west side of Gili Trawangan is far quieter than the island's centre. The estate is a wide coconut grove with two tile-roofed houses and a path that ends on white sand.
The main house's terrace has rattan chairs for reading through the afternoon, and hammocks hang between the palms at the water's edge. The sunsets on this side of the island are the best in the Gilis.
